I just finished 50 Shades of Grey (I guess these Train rides will be good for something and my tumblr might become full of book reviews!) The book is categorized as erotic romance, and that it was. Although the main female character is submissive, which would usually kind of turn me off to a book, there is something about the sex contracts and Grey protecting her that kept me reading it. Also, I must say, love the book cover-kinky shit!

I love Les Mis! I saw the play on broadway twice. I tried reading the book but I found it too dense-It’s the music that makes it!! Anyway, it comes out around Christmas. Hopefully I will have survived my first semester of Law School so I can see it.
Yesterday was quite a fine evening! I even have a mysterious wound to prove it happened! We went to the Massapequa diner at like 4 a.m. after going out. Kelly Brady got a Short Shit Stack. The rest of us got cheese things. In retrospect, it’s a good thing we didn’t run home down sunrise highway at sun rise.
OBAMA JUSTICE DEPARTMENT THREATENS UNIVERSITY WITH LAWSUIT BECAUSE TRANSGENDERED MAN CAN‘T USE WOMEN’S BATHROOMS
So this case came up on my dashboard through a feminist blog I follow. Basically, a person who considers themselves to be a woman but is still anatomically a man and dresses as a woman wanted to use the women’s bathroom. The person, Jennifer Braly, was not allowed by the University of Arkansas and was told to use gender neutral bathrooms. The feminist blog stated that it is ridiculous that the transgendered person’s rights were infringed upon in such a way. Although I feel for Braly, I think its more complicated and the rights of the women in the bathroom need to be further considered as well. The article states “If Braly is capable of knocking girls up, then those girls have every reason to want her away from them in the bathroom so long as she retains the organ that would permit her to do so. This is just basic common sense.” Braly is now permitted to use the women’s bathrooms after pressure from the justice department. It’s an interesting case and there are many different ways to look at it.. and I could go on forever so i’ll stop now
I had such a good day yesterday! I’m going to miss Christine so much when she is in binghamton this sumer. I’m so happy the homeless arteest provided us with some long lasting memories to hold me up until I see her in July. At least she will be doing good things there like guiding people through binghamton and talking about the food <3 oh and mentoring haha
